Perfect!
Perfect for 6M mobile, I cut off an inch for use on the low end of the band. My 3/8 inch stud roof mount tilts back about 15 degrees, and while driving its good enough for making local SSB contacts.

56-INCH - STAINLESS STEEL WHIP ANTENNA ELEMENT
This is exactly what I needed for my Wolf River Coils mobile antenna… Works perfectly. I was impressed by how the company packages these whips in PVC with end caps. As a matter of fact, I think I will use that same approach, with wider diameter PVC, to pack up my Hamsticks. My only complaint with this process was the incredibly slow shipping. Hence, the four-star rating versus five stars. I did pick the slowest delivery to keep the cost low – but, in my opinion, their fulfillment should've been significantly faster. Irrespective of my concerns about delivery, I believe it is likely that I will do business with this company again in the future. 73 de Robert K3RRR --- [ STAFF NOTE ] Thanks Robert. Unfortunately several things slowed delivery. First was the huge holiday shipping volume that was worsened by the pandemic. Also, these tubes are manually processed in the postal sorting centers as the tubes cannot be fed into the automatic conveyors because they often jam the conveyors. Excellent Whips!
I purchased two of these whips in order to make a 6 meter dipole antenna. I put the two whips on a dipole mount. I was extremely surprised that the SWR on 6 meters (50.125Mhz - SSB) was 1.2!! The whips were not as thick as I thought they would be and with some effort can be bent. So do be careful. Still they do take some punishment. I purchased a set of Ferrules in which to place the whips and then into the mount. You can't go wrong getting these whips. Oh, I almost forgot, AmericanRadioSupply.com ships these antennas in a long PVC pipe, which I use to store the antennas when not in use. Great Idea!
