ARS-G505-400 - PL-259 UHF-Male Coaxial Connector
This PL-259 (UHF-Male) connector is constructed of silver plated brass and it fits LMR400 coaxial cable. To install simply prep the coax cable. Crimp or solder the center pin and then crimp the outer ferrule (sleeve). Also fits RG-8/U, RG-11, RG-83, RG-213/U, RG-214/U, LMR-400, and Belden 9913.

Works and fits the coax

Easy to Use
Very easy to use as long as you have the proper crimping tools. Makes a good, solid connection. Much easier than using soldier connections.

Very Strong
This is just what I was looking for. It's so much easier to crimp the connector then to have to solder it. The connections seem very strong and should last for a long time.

PL-259 Connector Discription
The connector is well made. Clean and bright. Solders easy if you have plenty of heat. I set my Iron with a broad tip to 800deg. Solder flows right into the braid and tip. I use Scott 88 tape to seal connector at the antenna. The California Heat does not unravel the tape.
