Our high-quality G510 weather cap helps protect your UHF mount from the elements. Screws onto existing UHF (SO-239) base and keeps moisture, dirt and grime away. Idea for when you temporarily remove your antenna or when going through a car wash. You will often find these caps on 'go kits' / 'go-boxes' for field deployment of valuable radio equipment.

I’ve used these dust caps on my station for many years. They help keep moisture out of the coax when the coax is temporarily taken out of service or if the coax is used as a spare. I’ve never had an issue with coax due to water egress when using the dust cap.
